Night Adventure to Mount Moses & St. Catherine's Monastery
Pickup & Departure:
- Pickup between 7:30 PM and 9:00 PM, depending on your hotel in Sharm El-Sheikh
- Transport by bus with an English-speaking guide
- Journey covers approximately 130 km to the base of Mount Moses
Arrival & Preparation:
- After a 2–3 hour drive, stop at a police checkpoint
- Bring your passport and a photocopy for clearance
Night Climb to Mount Moses (2,285 meters):
- Guided by a local Bedouin
- Climb begins at night and takes about 2 hours
Route Options:
- Steps of Repentance: 3,750 ancient stone steps carved by monks
- Camel Trail: Easier, 19th-century path, partially rideable by camel (rentals from $20)
Summit Experience:
- Climb under a starry sky
